My love of photography started when I discovered the work of Gary Winogrand, Saul Leiter and William Klein and learned about street photography. The ability, the notion and the inspiration to turn my camera towards people were things that I had not found until then. I threw myself into street photography and developed my style and technique through trial and error on the streets of London.

Through my experiences as a street photographer I have trained my eye to see beauty in the candid and unposed, while refining my ability to create bold and unusual compositions. My photography is still a search for those perfect collisions of form and feeling, this is as true of my portrait photography as it is of my events and documentary photography.

I seek to capture intimate and truthful portraits of my subjects, to draw out expressive and honest images that give a true reflection of a subjects personality. I call myself a humanist photographer, I believe my work shows and celebrates the power for good that inhabits humans of all walks of life. I have a background in healthcare and many of my subjects are healthcare workers and providers.

My commercial work, which is unapologetically stylised, has been commissioned by clients who would prefer a distinctive visual signature to their images. I always deliver photographs that I am proud of and that are unequivocally in my style.
